Item Description
Two sheets of Truman's stationery 7.25x10.5" with typed date Oct. 5, 1960 and typed name and address of Mariano Lucca, although body of letter is printed. Text is an "urgent plea" to work for JFK/LBJ ticket. Truman notes JFK was not his first choice, but still asks for "All Out Support Of The Democratic Ticket." Signed in ink: Harry Truman. Two folds as mailed. Essentially Mint. Comes with U.P.I. photo from 11/1/60 of Truman with Robert Wagner taken at N.Y.C. City Hall. Caption sheet is titled "Laugh Time." Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
