First is 7.25x10.5" typed letter signed. Printed stationery/envelope reads "Harry S. Truman/Federal Reserve Bank Building/Kansas City Six, MO." Letter is dated Aug. 24, 1955. Letter is addressed to Mariano Lucca, Editor of Buffalo Beacon. Content expresses regret that he cannot meet a family as he will be traveling and adds "In Regards To The Public Power Question, I Think Our Efforts Have Had Some Effect On The People." Letter is signed "Harry Truman." Two horizontal folds as mailed with light handling creases. O/w letter displays Mint. Envelope with couple traces of age. Also included is 8x10" A.P. Press photo captioned "The Gentleman From Independence." Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
