Item Description
N. Mint to Mint collection assembled by one collector with numerous buttons used only in New Jersey. First are 5 buttons (1" to 2-3/16") used in Bush's hopeful campaign of 1980. The other 45 buttons mostly range from 1.25" up to 3". About 26 are from the 1988 campaign, about 13 are from the 1992 campaign and 6 are dated 1989, 1990 or 1991 for special GOP events or local campaigns in New Jersey. Bush and others are pictured on 5 of the 6 and 6th shows the state with name of Governor candidate Chuck Hardwick in 1989. Among the scarcer buttons are 1988 "Where Was George?" jugate, the 1988 elephant ears jugate, the five picture buttons for New Jersey events 1989-1991 and 1992 coattail trigate "Bob Franks For Congress." Collection includes small "Bush 88" New York lapel pin and large plastic badge "Official Bush Backer" for total of 52 items, all in outstanding condition. An instant collection.
