Item Description
1.75x10.25x19" box. Lid has 3-7/8x6.5" bw picture of Babe holding bat w/2" long facsimile signature below. Art illustration of batter and catcher in center. Notations at bottom of illustration read "Made In U.S.A. By Arrangement With The Christie Walsh Syndicate/Milton Bradley Co., Springfield, Mass., U.S.A." Box lid sides have repeat facsimile inscription reading "My Own Authorized Baseball Game/'Babe' Ruth." Comes w/85 original issued 2.25x3.5" playing cards, four of 12 generic wood counter disks (three white, one blue). Lid has one corner split at top left, .25x1.5" surface paper loss at that corner, lt. color loss along edges, .25" tall lettering in pencil across batter's jersey reading "New York." Instructions inside box lid. Lt. surface dust. c. 1930s. Displays VF.
