Item Description
11x12x4" deep nicely painted plaster statue showing Popeye sitting in front of galleon-style ship. c. 1930s. Traces of dark sparkle accents remain. Scattered dust soiling/aging with a few paint flakes to Popeye's nose and chin though these are not that noticeable. Missing separate small pipe that fits in Popeye's mouth but this is easily replaceable. VF. One of the rarest and best designs of all Popeye-related carnival statues, harkening back to Popeye's sailor bkg.
