Item Description
The standard version of this piece is 26mm and has 3 leaf clusters to the left and right of the date. This is the variety noted in DeWitt/Sullivan as "a" which is 25mm (1") and which has a single floral spray to each side of the date. Portraits are just a hair on the dark side but the emulsion surfaces are near 100% flawless. The only exception is a pinpoint dot bubble on the extreme outer edge of the Hamlin which for practical purposes is nearly invisible without magnification. Nice luster on the brass rims, each of which has the candidate's name with the date 1860 below. The emulsion surfaces are N. Mint and rarely found this nice.
