Item Description
1.25" with flag accent reading "Fargo-McKinley-Roosevelt-1900 Club." Extreme lower edge of the button has slightest trace of age dotting, the largest about 1/16" at the lower left. The piece has a slightly creamy tone and it retains its full gloss and has near perfect centering. The reverse has backpaper by M.C. Lilley of Columbus, OH. The back once had a fixed horizontal bar pin but that pin is snapped off with a standard spring pin serving as a replacement. The only other example we've seen of this design was in an Anderson Auction. That variety read "McKinley-Roosevelt-Prosperity." It had no stain and realized $2,340.00. Although our example has minor age traces, with the "Fargo" imprint it is most likely even rarer than the other version. Only example we've seen.
