Item Description
This colorful 4" celluloid has a metal-covered back with tiny trace of a bar pin that was soldered along the upper rim but now largely missing. Issuing group was "Clothiers' Legion Employers And Workers United." Celluloid has 2 near pinpoint surface nicks on the right center bkg. Rim shows a little stain with spots largely isolated to 5 o'clock, 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock. On the curl edge there are about 6 hairline splits ranging in length from 1/8" to .25" but these are still very tight and show very little. They somewhat coincide with the small stain marks already referenced. Well over 90% of the celluloid remains bright and clean. Numerous but light hairline scratches show only in reflected light. Fine and Rare. Also see McKinley/TR 4" button #225 and Wilson 3.5" litho #275.
