5x14x4" tall box contains tin litho and plastic toy. Although first produced in 1964, this is the early 1970s made in Taiwan version by Day-Fran. Box with 1.5x1.5" puncture tear at lower right. Still displays Fine. Toy depicts futuristic space train. Astronaut is seated behind elaborate computer equipment. On sides are simulated windows with images of children and animals in spacesuits including dogs and a monkey. Toy travels around with non-stop action as it produces a loud "space noise." Front panel section rotates and flashes red/green. Back section with tail fins also rotates. Lt. wear to plastic dome on top. Works. Displays Exc.
