Item Description
This is a 3.75" plastic case button with bar pin on reverse. It holds a full color piece of paper showing Obama in the White House along with the date of his inaugural and the rim text "56th Presidential Inauguration 44th President." These were made by an artist who bills himself as 'Designer 2 The Stars.' His name is Wan Ali and he made only 100 of these personally for Oprah's pre-inauguration party. He autographed the back of each one with his name and the date of "2008" as that is when he constructed them. Button comes in a hand-made gold fabric pouch with a drawstring. The address for his website is on the button: www.wanwear.com. Certainly destined to be among the rarest of the buttons to be produced for Obama's inaugural. Mint as made. Comes with Hake's COA.
