Item Description
16x20" board covered in dark blue velvet-like fabric holds just over 138 buttons and 2 metal badges. All items are totally clean and display Mint. Sizes are 5/8" to one 2.75" oval, but most range from 7/8" to 1.75". Most are celluloids with just a few litho tin. Includes many years beginning in 1896 with the majority from the 1930s and into the early war years of the 1940s. The two metal badges are member's pin for the 1930s Buck Rogers Solar Scouts and a Mint "Junior 'G' Man" badge by Tootsietoy. Among the people, characters, events and advertising are: Lincoln, Hearst For Governor, Pope Pius XI, Our Gang Club, early Rin-Tin-Tin, Johnny of Philip Morris, Santa, Elks Lodge, Sears, Lusitania Ocean Liner, Railroad, Trolley, Bicycle Brake, Royalty, Polish Kolacky Day (6 different), Chicago 1933 Expo Midget City, Smitty Sweater, numerous promoting milk products, Gettysburg 1938 battle anniversary, Greek War Relief, many for WWII and much more. Many, many items in the $10 to $20 range and some even higher. Great condition. An ideal collection to display as is or could be broken down into numerous specialty categories.
