Item Description
22.75x28" frame contains art double-matted to 15x20.5". Done in mixed media, this piece re-creates cover to "Comic Cavalcade" first issue published by DC Comics Winter, 1942. Done in the early 1990s by noted comic artist Murphy Anderson after the original artist who remains uncredited. Cover features great scene showing the Golden Age Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, and Flash racing, Wonder Woman breaking ribbon and winning. Text at bottom of art reads "A Galaxy Of America's Greatest Comics." Art also bears "Let's Go! U.S.A. Keep 'Em Flying!" insignia. N. Mint. Great display.
