21.75x25.25" frame contains art that has been triple-matted to 13x16.5". Done in mixed media by Captain America's co-creator Joe Simon, piece shows Captain America in his Golden Age costume, with open-face mask. Captain America also carries his Golden Age triangular shield. Text below art reads "This Is My Re-Creation Of A 1939 Proposal For A New Superhero. Today, In The 21st Century, He Still Stands Tall, Proud And Strong -- As Noble As The Nation He Was Named For! Joe Simon." Done in the early 1990s. N. Mint.
