Item Description
20x34.5" frame contains original pen and ink art that has been matted to 8.5x29". Art is for Jul. 29, 1927 daily strip and has ©1927 H.C. Fisher paste-over at bottom right margin. 6-panel story involves Mutt complaining about the "Reds" and the perceived Russian Bolshevik threat. Framed w/2 name/information plates, one which lists title of strip as "A 'Red' Crowns The Little Fellow With A Nice Plump Bomb," the other giving brief biographical information on "Mutt And Jeff" creator Harry C. "Bud" Fisher.
Art is lightly aged, but Exc. as framed.
