Item Description
6" tall clay figure stands atop 5x7x.75" tall beveled wood display w/"Will Vinton Studios" label. Created by The Will Vinton Studio for the 1988 primetime Emmy Award-winning TV special "Meet The Raisins!" One of the most prevalent late 1980s characters, California Raisin is depicted in bw spats. Figure is made of mostly clay w/wire apparatures and 2 plastic eyeballs. Figure has some wear as designed to be moved/molded frequently to achieve the appearance of movement/transformation. A few cracks to tops of shoes but figure remains structurally sound. St. aging to purple area of raisin's body. Fine/VF.
