6.5x8.5" glossy sepiatone photo shows Babe Ruth rounding bases, his back toward viewer. Photo was used for newspapers and magazines. Ink stamp on back reads "©By Paul Thompson" and second ink stamp reads "The Ring Inc." Penciled text suggests caption "First Lap Of The Home-Run Journey - Rounding 1st." c. 1923. Lt. corner tip wear, 1.5" diagonal crease in lower left corner. VF.
