Item Description
Wilson size 42. This jersey was proposed for an alternate jersey but never worn in an actual game because the team switched to knit uniforms at the beginning of the 1971 season. Soon after, the Orioles did go w/orange knit shirt as an alternate uniform but this flannel was the first example of that type of uniform and is from the Orioles legend Brooks Robinson. "B. Robinson" name sewn onto back w/his number "5." Baltimore "Orioles" name on front of button-up jersey, again w/Robinson's "5." He has signed in black marker underneath his number "I Would Have Looked Good In This!! Brooks Robinson - HOF 83." Jersey has some scattered aging, some to white piping of "Orioles" name on front but this does not affect inscription/signature. .5x.75" area of glue residue to collar piping at left. VF/Exc. w/Exc. signature area. Comes w/Hakes COA.
