Item Description
10.5x14” complete Sep. 14, 1953 issue. Bw photo cover pictures “Casey Stengel’s Winning Smile” as he is shown in his New York Yankees uniform. Stengel has signed in black felt tip pen at bottom, adding “Hall Of Famer.” Issue has some handling wear, mostly along spine which has some ink touch-ups. Slight rust soiling at staples. Bottom left corner of front cover has surface paper lifts from mailing label removal with ink touch-ups. Fine overall. Signature area remains VF/Exc. Comes with Hake’s COA.
