Item Description
8-3/8x11” program for 1948 film that starred William Bendix as Ruth. Both Ruth and Bendix are shown on front cover, Bendix in Yankees uniform and both of them holding baseball bat. Program features biographical content on stars of film and shows several bw photos of major league baseball players and several showing Bendix with Ruth in candid moments. Separate page shows “Ruth’s Batting And Pitching Record” and another page shows highlights from film and behind scenes images of Bendix being made up as Ruth. Scattered handling wear with pinch creases to spine and vertical crease running throughout though this is not that visible. Fine/VF. Scarce movie program.
