Item Description
14.5x21.5” thin artboard with 5-panel original pen and ink art for page 12 of Gold Key Comic published in May, 1964. Part of “Mad, Mad, Mad Mounties” 21-page story. This page features no Stooges but #17 is the only issue whose original art is known to exist as noted by the Three Stooges Comicography. Story deals with Canadian lumberjacks using remote control log to smuggle money. Scattered blue pencil notations and correctional fluid touch-up to text in first panel. Exc.
