Item Description
14.25x22” thin artboard with 12.5x18.5” India ink image area. From May, 1955 issue during the “Passage For Panamint” storyline. This is the last page of the story and consists of 7 panels showing Sgt. Preston (who has a black eye) helping a sick old friend by giving him money to go home to Texas. Art is unsigned but is by noted comic book artist Alberto Giolitti. Traces of original blue pencil corrections. Second to last panel has .25x1-1/8” paste-over to text correction. Lt. margin wear but if framed, art would display Exc.
