Item Description
7.25” tall with 3.5” dia. rosette and 1.75” medal. This is the official convention medal with profiles/names of Lincoln-Grant-McKinley on front. Text with convention dates and state names on reverse, although not easily visible due to mounting on badge. Trace of luster variation on McKinley’s forehead, o/w medal is Mint with original brass luster. Large 2” wide brass bar pin at top shows Independence Hall in middle with Liberty Bell above and “E Pluribus Unum” along bottom. Lightest trace of luster loss to gold “Chief Usher” text on ribbon. Overall an impressive/N. Mint convention badge. Unique.
