Item Description
Pair of 3.5x5.5” sepia tone real photo postcards depicting scenes from Baker’s 1927 silent film “Siren Of The Tropics.” In one she is depicted looking rather unhappy in a full gown and hat, the other shows her falling through a window with a bucket on her foot. The film’s writer, Maurice Dekobra’s name appears below Baker’s name as well as name of film on each card. French issue as this film only found success in Europe. Both cards are unused and show lt. wear. VF overall. Choice images and condition. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
