Item Description
7/8” real photo button without dot pattern has covered metal back with bar pin. The more famous Batista was the leader of Cuba from 1933 to 1944 and from 1952 to 1959. This button pictures his brother “Francisco Batista Zaldavar.” Additional Spanish text on the button translated to English reads “Mayor Of Marianao 1944.” Button is tiniest bit concave and has tiniest bit of wear in reflected light. Still displays Mint. Rare. From The Richard Merkin Collection. Comes with Hake's COA.
