Item Description
Pair of 2” buttons picturing founder of the Jewish Defense League (see previous item). On the picture button, the Hebrew text on the bottom edge repeats the text in English at the top. Next to his picture is the word “Kakh” which is the acronym for Kahane’s party. While Kahane ran for the Knesset in 1973 and 1977, we believe these buttons relate to his only successful run in 1984. His party was banned after that for being racist and in 1990 he was assassinated in New York City. Both buttons are essentially Mint. Only examples we’ve seen.
