Item Description
10” tall tin litho with hard plastic arms and head. Mid-1960s by Yonezawa, Japan. Version with built-in key on side of body rather than on back. Also known as Athlete Robot. Nice lithography on body including dials, gauges, etc. Toy works and walks forward as he moves his arms in a flexing manner. Tin body has moderate all-over scattered pinpoint oxidation spotting but not offensive. Color remains strong and appearance still remains glossy. Overall VG/Fine. Scarce.
