Item Description
12” tall tin litho with hard vinyl arms and hard plastic interior head. Originally came in box which read “Space Robot With T.V. Camera And Screen.” By Nomura, Japan c. 1960. Great detailing on body including dials and gauges and designated “X-70.” Tin litho head is in 3 sections which open to reveal head unit with camera that has 3 lenses plus screen which has space scene. Not working. Spring head mechanism is loose so panels stay open at all times. Tin body has moderate scattered wear including paint nicks and scratches and small traces of oxidation. Still displays nicely as is. Battery compartment remains clean. VG. Scarce.
