Item Description
The cast iron bank is 4x10x11" tall from "The John Wright Penny Bank Collection" © 1975. Comes in original plain cardboard box which is VF. Also comes w/instruction paper, certificate of authenticity and string tag describing this bank and promoting others by Wright. Tag text includes "Where's Uncle Sam's Money Disappearing? Place Your Penny In His Hand And Press The Lever. You'll Discover Why He's So Close To Losing His Shirt." Bank features figure of Uncle Sam wearing a barrel and standing next to an Arab sheik while between them is an oil drum reading "Arab Oil." Mechanical action is Uncle Sam's moving arm as well as mouths of both men. Bank is essentially Mint as issued. Nice design.
