Item Description
c. 1950s. Set of six 4” tall plastic figures. Bottom of each reads “Aunt Jemima/F&F Mold & Die Works Dayton, Ohio.” Each figure is cast from the same mold and separate at waist line. Inside has original plastic shaker inserts. Painted black/white accents. Each apron has a different spice name. Varying degrees of apron and lettering wear. Fine overall. Spice names are: Cinnamon, Cloves, Ginger, Nutmeg, Paprika, Allspice. These shakers were part of a Quaker Oats promotion, which included additional matching items from salt and pepper sets to a cookie jar. Quaker Oats is not marked, however, on any of the pieces. Set fits into 2-1/8x13x2” deep “Spices” rack. Rack has original faded paper label/price sticker on top of bottom bar. Made by “Lustra Ware.” Shakers fit into rack nicely with each plate held in Mammy’s hands resting on top bar of rack. Rack has lt. wear. Overall Fine.
