13-3/8” dia. 3” tall. 7” dia. image area. c. 1950s. White heavy ceramic bowl. Gold luster band around rim. Unmarked. Colorful graphic illustration advertising pasta made in Pescara Italy. The character image is made of various pasta shapes. An attractive design. 3” long thin trace of glaze wear at 7 o’clock rim, not affecting bright image/text. VF. This very large bowl would hold plenty of pasta for a large size family. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
