Item Description
11.5x14x1” deep box contains complete game (4 missing generic stand disks). 14x20” gameboard. Patented 1915 Gibson Game Co. Boston. Comes with 24 two-sided die-cut cardboard markers representing a wide variety of products of the day. Products include: Ivory Soap, Mennen’s Talc, Necco Wafers, Diamond Salt, Dixon Pencils, Hires Extract, Edison light bulbs, Pillsbury flour, etc. Interesting depictions of early packaging of these famous companies, many still in business today. Also included are 4 players dressed in Victorian outfits. Busy shopping scene is illustrated on lid. Toy soldier, teddy bear and kewpie doll appear on shelf on left. Lid has one corner/one side split. Couple of color rubs mostly on margins but o/w box Fine. Gameboard and markers have lt. wear but are clean and bright. VF.
