10x14” stiff cover album holds 32 stiff gray boards with images firmly mounted in place with a neatly inked inscription below the image. Album cover has minor edge rubs and cloth spine has pair of 1.5” long horizontal cuts (one at top, one at bottom). Somehow caused by red cord that secures pages within covers. Splits don’t cause any problem regards the binding which is secure. Cover VG/Fine. Album pages have trivial traces of scattered corner or edge wear. Fine. Photos are extremely crisp and clear in wide range of gray tones. Exc. Album is complete except for one large image and one small. Photos are in primarily 3 sizes. We will list most images largest to smallest. Nine largest 7.75x9.75”: Strattford, Vt. Waterfall, Woodstock Park (in town center), Woodstoc, Vt. river bank scene, Ox team Southfield (4 ox, 7 men, huge hay wagon), Mt. Tom overview of town, library Woodstock, Vt., Thelford, Vt. elevated view of river/road/rail tracks, falls, Wilder (Lowhead dam, many logs), Woodstock, Vt. overview of town. Nine medium 5.5x7.5”: Old tannery, Lyme, N.H., Glen Bridge, Lebanon N.H., Soutfield St. (2 rows huge oak trees), Lovers Retreat, Southfield (dirt road, creekside), White River Junction (snow-covered foliage by creek), Lyman (covered) Bridge, distant river view Southfield, two oxen with farmer seated on plow, views of Southfield (3-3/8x9-3/8” with 24 contact sheet-like small photos ink captioned). 21 small 3.5x5” primarily New England locations: State House Boston, Phillips Brooks Church, Anthia White (dry dock ship), Bridge St. White River Junction, Vt. (snow), “The Glen” West Lebanon, N.H. (snow), Regan sugar place, Barnard, Vt. (one with 2 men, 2 horses with barrel on sled in snow by building plus one with buckets on trees in snow), Longfellow’s home, Moody’s home, Boston Harbor, warships 1898 Vesuvius/Bancroft/Redro (2), Nashua, N.H. (bridge), Quechee Gulph and bridge (3), Wilder, Vt. lower falls, Bunker Hill monument, Vermont State House and soldiers parading, Brattleboro, Vt., suspension bridge. 24 small 3.5x5” outside New England in US and Europe: Durham Castle and Cathedral (2), Washington’s home Mt. Vernon (2 exteriors), Munich street sweeper, 14th century river toll house, Waterloo monument, White House, U.S. Capitol, Oberanmergau (3), Melrose Abbey, Chicago (sailboat on lake and ship at dock), California views (2 of landscapes, 2 by ocean at cliff house in one), Colorado (river view) Colorado Curecanti Needle and 3 views Yellowstone River and Falls.
