Item Description
First is 28” long fabric pennant with original hanger piece at left center with text “Souvenir Pennant/Start Your Collection Now” and meant to be cut off after purchase. Patent date puts this at 1974. Towers were dedicated Apr. 1973. Lt. surface dust. A few bends in the stiff fabric, not offensive. VG. 3.75x9” folded brochure promotes all aspects of visiting the World Trade Center but primarily was to promote visits to the Observation Deck. When unfolded to its full 30 " length the panoramic view from the observation deck is seen and objects, buildings identified. The brochure cover title “The Closest Some Of Us Will Ever Get To Heaven, The World Trade Center New York” seems ironic in light of the subsequent tragedy. Lt. wear. Still VF.
