Item Description
Three-ring binder holds 8 plastic pages and total of 89 different Canadian-issued buttons, the vast majority (if not all) from 1981-1985 and all 2-1/8” to 2.5”. Vast majority Mint as issued. Catalogue shows 12 examples with the others on our website. Many have Levin’s inked (removable) date of issue on the reverse. Themes include many opposing cruise missile testing, at least 5 are anti-Star Wars, many issued by specific groups promoting “Peace” and numerous include peace dove design, several have mushroom cloud design, a number relate to a specific day protest event, at least 5 refer to “Disarmament.” In all, 89 different. A few may appear to be duplicates but close inspection shows they are varieties. A great collection that includes many extremely limited issues. Comes with Hake’s COA stipulating from the Levin Collection.
