In the Hake Guides, nearly all of Hughes’ 1916 presidential badges use a photo where he appears quite a bit more elderly than he does on this button. Button reads in full “For President Charles E. Hughes.” Reverse has backpaper by Bastian as well as their copyright in extremely tiny text on the curl. Essentially Mint. Rare and unlisted in Hake.
