Item Description
.75” wide die-cut brass and enamel accent pin with pair of roosters to symbolize the presidential candidate’s name flanking the center text “Cox And Roosevelt.” This item came from a pressman at the Dayton Daily News, the first newspaper in the chain owned by Cox. In the 1950s, Jim Cox personally gave the pin to his employee as a souvenir of Cox’s 1920 presidential campaign. Rare and the first we’ve seen. Exc.
