Item Description
4.75x8x10.25” tall. c. 1930s. Barking Dog was a short-lived cigarette brand produced by the Phillip Morris Company. Glazed pottery with raised letters on front. Dog’s eyes are cast as open holes. A light bulb fits inside with cord coming out through the rear. Old extensive repairs to rear end portion but not evident when displayed. Inside figure on bottom is original Cliftwood Pottery sticker. Eyes appear glowing yellow when lit. Works. Glaze crazing. Well made. Displays VF. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
