Item Description
Lot of two. 9.5x12”. 48 pages. One with 1914 copyright. Books are similar but different, both with price stickers inside. One $1.00/other $1.50. Cover has color paper photo applied to softbound cover. Books are string bound. Different train illustrations on cover views taken at same location. One offers 23 colored views from recent photos, other has 24 views. Both have full page text titled “Explanation Of Subjects Illustrated.” Each color view is 6.5x8.5” and applied to right side page with captions in upper left. Many of these photo prints are mountain scenes starting in Denver and journeying up Pike’s Peak past Castle Rock and through the Rocky Mountains. Red cover variation has noticeable aging on front cover. Cover VG. Contents remain clean, clear and Exc. Green variation shows lt. aging to cover with back cover tears. Cover VG. Contents bright, clean and Exc.
