Text reads “One Hundred Years Of The Railroad/Baltimore & Ohio Centenary Pageant/Baltimore-Sept. 24 – Oct. 8 – 1927.” B&O produced and paid for this splendid Centennial Celebration of the Fair of the Iron Horse. Officially the Centenary Exhibition and Pageant of the B&O Railroad to mark 100th anniversary of their charter. This elaborate exhibit and show cost one million dollars, lasted 23 days, and attracted 1.3 million visitors. Tiny bottom text reads “Copyright 1927 B&O Railroad Co.” Printed by Ketterlings, Philadelphia. Archival tape repairs at top/bottom edges. Could be matted out for display or would disappear on linen mounting. Poster has been rolled. Displays VF.
