Item Description
4.25x9x2” deep heavy stiff cardboard box with mirror sight within and 4 holes set in wooden block with wooden peg plungers for dropping four 2.5” long plastic rocketship darts. “Space Station Rocket Launcher” has futuristic designs with rockets on side panels. Part of 1950s space game “Rockets Away” by AMSCO (American Metal Specialties Corporation). Rocket launcher shows some wear with aging and a few creasing/ripples to surface paper. Fine+. The four included multi-color plastic “rockets” darts each have partial or totally missing fins, blue rocket only missing one. VG. These darts actually had sharp metal points which were designed to be dropped onto a hard gameboard. Definitely not a game that would be approved for use with children today. Key piece for this classic and rare game, a game we have never offered in our 44 year history.
