12.5” tall glazed ceramic cookie jar by Metlox. Part of the “Poppy Trail Pottery” line. c. 1950s. Poppy Trail foil stickers still attached though showing heavy wear. Underside has incised “Made In Poppy Trail Calif.” Exc./N. Mint. Beautiful cookie jar. Rare. Listed in the Cookie Jar Book by Moran at $1800.00. Extremely conservative opening based on that value.
