Item Description
5x5.5x4.5" tall toy comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. 1960s Frankonia/Yanoman Toy, Japan. Box is Exc. Toy is mostly tin litho w/plastic oar paddles and feather for head. Indian is depicted w/quiver over one shoulder containing bow and arrows. Behind him in the canoe are different types of fruit. Sides have Indian art motif along w/images of bird and fish jumping out of the water. Toy works and when friction is activated, it travels forward as Indian rocks back and forth and the oars rotate.
