Item Description
2-7/8” tall (to tip of ball cap) glass container by Potter & Moore. English. Depicts Bonzo balancing ball cap on head. Nice paint accents and original thread collar about neck. 3” tall perfume bottle with cork stopper head has nice paint accents and is again by Potter & Moore of England. Both c. 1920s. 3.5” tall glass ink well is nice figural depiction of Bonzo with hinged neck. “Bonzo” raised text on back of head. “Czechoslovakia” incised text below metal hinge. c. 1907. Most of black paint accent to nose is missing and remaining accent paint on eyes and tongue show wear. VF. Great design. Scarce and first we’ve seen. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
