Item Description
Hake #55. Truman complained of the “Do Nothing, Good For Nothing” Congress inspiring this 1.75” button reading “The Won’t Do Congress—Won’t Do!” A beautiful example with unfaded deep pink bkg. Reverse includes purple ink stamp by maker Emress of NYC. There is a 5/16” cello split on the reverse by the curl creating a narrow gap but not enough to make a bump on the side edge when the button is viewed from the front. Overall Exc. and still displaying Mint. Scarce.
