Item Description
Hake #2015. This is a very high quality real photo button without dot pattern although as typical with many real photo buttons, there is no maker’s name. While the button is totally clean, on the right side of his face there is a 1-1/8” vertical hairline crack running from the temple of his eyeglasses just to the top edge of his shirt collar. Under many viewing angles, this does not show at all but it does show as a hairline in some light positions. For display purposes, the piece is remarkably clean and glossy in addition to being quite rare, but also see following related item. In Hake’s 2004 Revised Prices the value is listed as $1,200. This opens substantially lower.
