Item Description
18.5x22”. 10.25x13.25” image area. Oversized original photo. 2.75” tall oval insert in photo at upper right is unidentified, but presumed deceased teammate. Great view of early baseball cleats on shoes. Center figure has catcher’s mitt at feet with text on glove “1914 E.-7/A.-0.” Obviously a victorious final score against an unknown opponent. Original mat with pressed mark at bottom right of photographer “Cunningham/Execter.” Possibly original or period frame with new backing. Tiny hole at upper left corner of image not affecting view. 2.5” streak across left vertical center area, not offensive. Overall Fine and ready for display. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake’s COA.
