Item Description
3.5x3.5x10.25" tall toy w/built-in key comes in box w/nicely illustrated lid. 1950s by Yoshiya, Japan. The plain box bottom is dented at one side panel, lid has only tiny trace of edge wear and remains totally bright and glossy. Box bottom is Fine, lid is Exc. Robot is mostly tin w/hard plastic hands, eyes, chest cover and interior gears. Designed w/"Telescopie Aerial" on top of head, back has raised tin litho section w/simulated machinery. Toy works and the aerial serves as the on-off switch. Walks forward as visible gears spin and a spark is produced. A few minute scattered paint nicks as produced but glossy and N. Mint.
