Evans, an English actor noted for his takes on Shakespearian characters played Malvolio in the 1940 stage production, later going on to portray Dr. Zaius in the 1968 sci-fi classic “Planet of the Apes.” Hayes, noted as “The First Lady Of The American Theatre” is one of only 12 people to have won an Oscar, Tony, Emmy and Grammy award.
