Item Description
8x10” bw publicity still for 1940 Universal Pictures comedy “The Bank Dick” starring W.C. Fields shows Shemp as bartender pouring drink for Fields. Shemp has signed on his white jacket in black ink, last letter of his last name smudging a bit. Margin wear from handling but could be easily matted out for an Exc. display. Shemp is a scarcer signature to obtain given his early death in Nov., 1955. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
