Auction #200 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1186 in auction 200
Item Description
First is 11/16” litho reading “Support Miners Strike.” Paint is somewhat thin around the outer edge so that gives the edge a bit of a gray tone. Still Fine. Second is 7/8” cello showing distressed miner with wife and child plus surrounding text stating “Help The Miners Children.” Backpaper by Pudlin. Essentially Mint. Third is an unusual piece probably used as a fund raiser or given in return for a contribution to a strike fund. Attached to a 1.75” long pin is a three dimensional brass replica of a miner’s lantern. Some original luster is gone but o/w Exc.
